KESZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. has started building the third logistics center of Penny Market with total area of 26,500 square meters

The construction of the third logistics center of Penny Market in the Veszprém, Hungary, started with the foundation stone ceremony on November 9th. The general contractor of the building is KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. The new center will start operating on a 10 hectares area next autumn. The amount of investment in the construction is about 25 mln. Euro.

With its total area of 26,500 square meters, the new logistics center will ensure smooth supply chain operations and will serve nearly 60 Penny Markets in West Hungary. Managing Director of Penny Market, Jens Thilo Krieger added: “We are proud of creating 130 new jobs in the region and of so contributing to economic growth. We are happy that the new logistics center does not only comply with the relevant energy requirements but will also be suitable for installing a solar system. It is an honor that we can implement this investment meeting 21st century requirements with such competent Hungarian partners like the experts of the general contractors Studio IN-EX and KÉSZ.”
